Description
The Town of Norton is seeking bids for a roof replacement project at the Norton Highway Department building. The project includes removal and replacement of the existing roof system, as well as reconstruction of the perimeter fascia. The contractor shall supply all materials, equipment, and labor required for completion of the work. The project requires a fully adhered EPDM roof system, new edge metal, and secure fastening. The contractor must also ensure that all new materials are installed in a first-class, workmanlike manner to provide a structurally sound wood fascia/band assembly. Key aspects of the project include:
• Removal and disposal of existing wood fascia/band, including plywood sheathing, cement panels, wood strapping/strips, and mechanical connections
• Reconstructing perimeter fascia as specified and indicated on drawings
• Supplying all materials, equipment, and labor required for completion of the work
• Ensuring that all new materials are installed in a first-class, workmanlike manner
• Scheduling and coordinating the work to minimize inconvenience to building occupants and disruption of the normal use of the building
