Description
The Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory (PPPL) is seeking a qualified contractor to replace the existing built‑up roofing systems on two of its research buildings (C40 RF Building and C41 CS Building). The work includes complete removal of the old roof, installation of new roofing materials, associated flashings, coping, and all labor, equipment, supervision, and safety measures required to bring the roofs to a “good as new” condition. The contract will be awarded as a single‑fixed‑price subcontract and requires compliance with PPPL’s safety, quality‑assurance, and labor‑wage regulations.
• Remove existing roof membranes, decking, and damaged flashing on two buildings.
• Install new roofing system per the SOW and specifications dated 28 Aug 2026.
• Provide all labor, tools, equipment, supervision, and necessary safety/quality controls.
• Submit schedule of values, progress schedule (based on NTP 5 Jan 2027), and required bid/payments bonds.
• Meet DOE/PPPL construction wage‑rate, OSHA, and E‑Verify requirements; provide certifications and insurance.
