6640--VISN 8 Electrophoresis Testing Base +4

The Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO 8, intends to award a Sole Source, Firm-Fixed Price contract to Sebia, Inc for the purchase of Electrophoresis Testing for VISN 08 locations. The contract will include the provision of equipment, reagents, standards, controls, supplies, disposables, and any other materials required to properly perform tests. The contractor will also be responsible for equipment service and maintenance. The contract will be for a base period of 1 year with 4 option years. • The contract will require the contractor to provide automated capillary serum and urine electrophoresis instruments, reagents, consumables, equipment services, and maintenance to five locations in the VA Sunshine Healthcare Network. • The contractor will be required to provide training for VA personnel in the operation and maintenance of the equipment. • The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary software support for ensuring successful interfacing with the Laboratory's Information System (LIS) VistA via middleware. • The contractor will be required to provide quality control material at a minimum of two levels, normal and abnormal levels, for each analyzer. • The contractor will be responsible for performing all validation studies, including precision, method comparison, accuracy, linearity, and calibration verification, at no cost to the Government.
