Maintenance and Service Support for BD FACSAria Fusion Flow Cytometer

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 21, is issuing a Notice of Intent to inform industry contractors of the Government's intent to execute a Sole Source Award for maintenance and service support for the BD FACSAria Fusion Flow Cytometer. The intended contractor is Becton, Dickinson and Company dba BD Biosciences. The scope of the service contract includes two preventive maintenance inspections per year, unlimited on-site service visits, unlimited technical phone support, installation of software and firmware updates, user training, and replacement of covered broken or worn parts. • The contract is for a one-year period with two option years. • The service contract includes comprehensive maintenance and support services to ensure optimal system performance. • The contractor will provide all necessary replacement parts for repairs covered under the contract. • The contractor will provide labor and travel for scheduled preventive maintenance and remedial repairs.
