The Department of Natural Resources, Division of Agriculture is seeking a contractor to design and deliver a grain drying and storage system for the Alaska Plant Materials Center. The system should be able to handle small grain production, including barley, oats, wheat, and rye, and allow for separation of multiple varieties. The contractor will be responsible for designing the system, but not for installation. The available power supply on site is 480v or 240v 3 phase.
• The system should be designed for easy cleanout and operation between varieties.
• A permanent truck unload system is not required, and a mobile auger would be acceptable.
• The equipment should be positioned on the south side of the PMC seed cleaning facility, roughly 60 feet from the edge of the building, but this location is negotiable.
• The system design should meet the needs of the Alaska Plant Materials Center and be compatible with the existing infrastructure.
