The City of Salina is seeking a qualified contractor to demolish the existing scale house and truck scale at its municipal solid‑waste landfill, then construct a brand‑new scale house with two truck scales (inbound/outbound) and comprehensive site‑improvements. The work encompasses demolition, earthwork, utility installation, building construction, paving, lighting, fencing, signage, and landscaping, with a substantial‑completion deadline of 31 December 2026 and final completion by 3 May 2027.
• Demolition of existing scale house, truck scale, and related structures.
• Construction of a new scale‑house building, two truck scales, and associated MEP systems.
• Site‑improvement works including grading, paving, curb & sidewalk installation, utilities (water, sewer, electrical, future fiber), erosion‑control, fencing, gate, lighting, signage, bollards, and final landscaping.
