Hydraulic Model Update and Analysis

The Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans is seeking a qualified engineering consulting firm to update and calibrate its existing hydraulic model of the East Bank water distribution network. The selected consultant will be responsible for providing all necessary materials, labor, field testing, database updates, model licensing, software, and other associated services to complete the model update and calibration. The consultant will also perform an analysis of the Little Woods and New Orleans East areas to identify system deficiencies and provide recommendations for mitigating pressure-losses in these areas. The scope of work includes: • Converting the hydraulic model from H2OMAP to InfoWater Pro • Updating the hydraulic model to reflect current infrastructure and demands • Calibrating the hydraulic model to ensure accuracy • Performing hydraulic analyses to identify deficiencies and provide recommendations • Providing training to Board staff on running model simulations and performing updates The proposal should include a detailed description of the approach, methodology, and work plan, as well as a description of the proposed project team, including resumes and relevant experience.
