Vertical Tire Carousel Storage System

The City of Pasadena is seeking a qualified vendor to furnish, deliver, and install a vertical tire carousel storage system for fleet tire storage operations. The system should be capable of storing approximately 130 tires with a maximum tire diameter of 44 inches and should utilize a motorized vertical carousel design to improve accessibility and reduce manual lifting. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and tools necessary to furnish and install the system, including delivery, assembly, anchoring, electrical coordination requirements, testing, startup, and operator training. The City is looking for a vendor with experience in installing commercial vertical storage or automated storage systems, and the vendor should demonstrate experience with governmental agencies for three projects/contracts of similar scope and size. • The system should meet or exceed the City's operational, dimensional, safety, and storage requirements. • The system should be designed for commercial or fleet tire storage applications. • The system should safely store tires with or without rims. • The system should utilize overhead vertical storage space. • The system should provide ergonomic tire retrieval at operator working height. • The system should include safety guarding and emergency stop controls. • The system should include push-button controls. • The system should include security access controls or keypad access. • The system should comply with applicable OSHA and safety requirements. • The system should include manufacturer warranty coverage. • The system should have a minimum tire storage capacity of 130 tires. • The system should have a minimum carrier quantity of 10 carriers. • The system should have a minimum carrier capacity of 2,000 pounds per carrier. • The system should accommodate tires up to 44-inch diameter. • The system should support commercial fleet tire storage operations. • The system should fit within the available facility space and should not exceed the maximum dimensions of 28 feet 1 inch in height, 14 feet 11 inches in width, and 9 feet 4 inches in depth.
