Description
The Department of Transportation and Public Facilities is soliciting bids for Liquid Asphalt Products for pick-up and delivery to locations throughout Northern Region Alaska on an “As Needed” basis. The contract term will be from the date of award through May 31, 2027, with the option to renew for four additional one-year terms. The contractor shall furnish liquid asphalt in full compliance with the Alaska Standard Specifications for Highway Construction.
• The contractor must meet the requirements of AASHTO M 320 for the specified Performance Grade.
• The contractor must provide a certificate of compliance according to Subsection 106-1.05.1 certifying that REOB/VTAE were not used as a modifier of Asphalt Binder.
• The contractor must store, mix, and apply asphalt materials within the specified temperature ranges.
• The contractor must provide a bid that meets all the material terms of the ITB, including the scope of work, specifications, and contract information.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and requirements, including those related to employment, materials, and construction.
