CASTLE STREET BOAT RAMP REPAIRS & RIVERWALK SUPPORT A

The City of Wilmington is seeking a qualified, North‑Carolina‑licensed contractor to perform structural repairs on the Castle Street boat ramp and associated riverwalk support structures at Anne Bonny’s. The work includes cleaning and recoating support piles, installing kingboards, patching and recoating sheet piles, repairing timber bulkheads, replacing a bollard, and fixing steel support brackets and cross‑braces. Bids must be submitted sealed by August 11, 2026, with a mandatory pre‑bid conference on July 14, 2026 (optional attendance). The contract requires a 5 % bid guarantee, performance and payment bonds for 100 % of the contract price, a 5 % retainage, and compliance with MBE/WBE subcontracting goals (14 %).
