The Modoc County Road Department is seeking a qualified contractor to rehabilitate County Road 1 from the intersection with County Road 9 to the B.L.M. boundary. The scope includes micro‑surfacing, cold‑plane asphalt concrete, high‑friction surface treatment, hot‑mix asphalt overlay, full‑depth HMA pavement digouts (≈100‑500 locations), road signage, and pavement delineation. The contractor must hold a Class A or Class C‑12 license, comply with prevailing‑wage requirements, and finish work within 55 working days after the Notice to Proceed (or after May 1 2027, whichever is later).
