2026 Fund Defense Panel

The Ocean County Municipal Joint Insurance Fund is seeking a defense attorney to serve on its defense panel for the 2026 fund year. The selected attorney will provide legal defense services related to worker's compensation claims, Title 59 (Tort Claims Act) liability matters, and other areas. The contract will be awarded through a fair and open process, and the selected attorney will be required to comply with various regulations and certifications, including a business registration certificate and disclosure of investment activities in Iran. • The contract is for a duration of 1 year, commencing January 1, 2026, or upon appointment. • The selected attorney will be required to provide legal defense services for the Fund's members. • The attorney must comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq. • The contract will be awarded based on the evaluation criteria set forth in the RFP, including qualifications, experience, and cost savings.
