The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is issuing a Sources‑Sought/RFI to gather market information on qualified vendors capable of supplying three powered clinical recliners (two standard and one bariatric) for the Long Beach VA Medical Center. The solicitation is purely informational; no contract award will result from this RFI. Vendors must detail capabilities, size status, compliance with Buy American and FDA requirements, lead times, warranties, and pricing for planning purposes.
• Required product: Powered clinical recliners with handset‑controlled recline, Trendelenburg position, heat/heat‑with‑massage, seat‑height adjustment, USB charging, and SPHM compatibility.
• Two standard units (≥300 lb capacity, ~23″ seat width) and one XL unit (≥500 lb capacity, ~27″ seat width).
• Must meet infection‑control specs (removable seat, cleanable surfaces, removable arm covers).
• Provide model numbers, configurations, lead time, warranty, domestic content, FDA clearance, and any leasing options.
