2026 Chevrolet Equinox EV or equivalent

The City of Pasadena's Public Works Department, Engineering, is soliciting bids for the purchase and delivery of one 2026 Chevrolet Equinox EV or equivalent. The vehicle should meet the specified requirements, including being fully electric, having a minimum of 300 horsepower, and a minimum EPA-estimated range of 307 miles. The contract resulting from this proposal is scheduled to start on September 1, 2026, and end on June 30, 2027. • The vehicle should be a 2026 or newer, unused, Summit White Chevy Equinox EV or equivalent. • The vehicle should have a fully electric powertrain, dual electric motors, all-wheel drive, and a minimum of 355 lb-ft of torque. • The vehicle should have an 85 kWh lithium-ion battery pack and a single-speed electric direct drive. • The vehicle should have a maximum DC fast charging rate of at least 150 kW. • The vehicle should have a regenerative braking system and one-pedal driving capability. • The vehicle should have a seating capacity of at least 5 passengers and a maximum cargo volume of at least 57.2 cu. ft. • The vehicle should have a maximum towing capacity of at least 1,500 lbs.
