Description
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is seeking to purchase two 5-passenger, FWD, automatic, Hybrid (Gas/Electric) or PHEV powered midsize sedans. The vehicles must conform to the specified standards, including meeting Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards and California emissions requirements. The successful bidder will be required to provide verification of the dealer’s order within 15 days and deliver the vehicles within 30 calendar days of the bid award.
* The vehicles must have a minimum of 170 net hybrid horsepower and 130 lb.-ft. net torque.
* The vehicles must have a fuel tank capacity of at least 10.5 US gallons.
* The vehicles must have 4-wheel disc brakes with 4-wheel ABS, vehicle stability control, and traction control.
* The vehicles must have a 5-passenger seating configuration, power side view mirrors, and a rearview mirror.
* The vehicles must have a factory-installed stereo with a minimum 6.5-inch touchscreen and Bluetooth wireless phone connectivity.
The bid must include all standard equipment and features as specified, with no exceptions.
