Seasonal Opening, Closing, Winterization, Maintenance and Repairs for Warrenbrook Pool and Colonial Park Spray Park

Somerset County is seeking a qualified contractor to perform seasonal opening and closing, winterization, routine maintenance, and repairs for two recreational water facilities: Warrenbrook Pool and the Colonial Park Spray Park. The work includes preparing the pool for public use each spring, shutting it down safely each fall, protecting equipment during winter, performing regular cleaning, chemical balancing, equipment inspections, and addressing any repairs that arise throughout the season. The contract will be awarded to the bidder who demonstrates the ability to meet the county’s operational standards, safety requirements, and timeline constraints. • Seasonal pool opening (filtration, chemical balance, safety checks) and closing (draining, winterizing equipment). • Ongoing maintenance tasks such as cleaning, water chemistry monitoring, equipment servicing, and minor repairs. • Winterization procedures for both the pool and spray park, including covering, heating system protection, and off‑season inspections. • Compliance with county safety, health, and environmental regulations; provision of all labor, materials, and equipment. • Requirement to respond to the bid by the due date and be prepared for potential addenda throughout the procurement period.
