Description
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is seeking bids for the rental of an offset drill with an operator to drill holes for the installation of steel railroad rails. The drill must be capable of drilling holes that are offset a minimum of 5 feet from the edge of the truck tire or track to the center of the hole. The vendor must supply any site support labor, miscellaneous support equipment, and supplies necessary for the installation of the railroad rails. The vendor will be responsible for cutting off the installed rail 2 inches below the proposed finish roadway grade. The department will provide traffic control and flagging on the worksite.
* The vendor must provide a certificate of insurance that meets the requirements outlined in the solicitation.
* The vendor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and mandates.
* The vendor must provide a non-collusion certification.
* The vendor must provide a certification regarding disadvantaged business enterprise participation.
* The vendor must comply with the Buy America and Build America, Buy America Acts.
* The vendor must provide a certification regarding the use of artificial intelligence in the performance of the contract.
