The Clay County Utility Authority is intending to award a sole-source procurement for critical power and associated control systems parts and service. The proposed contract is for products or services that the authority intends to negotiate and award with only one sole source, Russelectric, A Siemens Business. Russelectric is the original equipment manufacturer of critical power systems, including paralleling switchgear, automatic transfer switches, and associated control systems. They are the only authorized provider of factory-certified service, engineering support, OEM replacement parts, software and control system updates, lifecycle maintenance, preventative maintenance, repair services, technical support, engineering modifications, and field testing for their equipment.
