VOLK FIELD ANGB AIRFIELD LIGHTING

The Volk Field Air National Guard Base is seeking preliminary market research information to gain knowledge of capable and qualified small businesses that can provide construction services for a complete turnkey airfield lighting system. The project includes replacing the existing outdated and deteriorated airfield lighting system with a new system, including all electrical components, infrastructure, control systems, cabling, and an airfield lighting vault with constant current regulators and generator support. The scope of the project consists of runway in-pavement and edge lights, runway approach lights, taxiway edge lights, apron flood lights, and a relocated lighting vault with constant current regulators and a backup generator. The project must be accomplished with a phased approach to allow the airfield to remain active for all phases except during the replacement of the runway and approach lighting.
