PROJECT DESCRIPTIONBuilding envelope, structural and accessibility improvements to the sleeping cabins at Camp Junior, including:- Bat and rodent-proofing, roof cleaning and zinc strip installation on 21 cabins- Structural repairs to 18 cabins- Accessible ramps and pathways at 2 cabins- Associated site work, drainage and restorationCamp Junior is eligible for the State and National Registers of Historic Places. Repair and replacement of historic materials must match the originals in dimension, profile, color and finish. SUBCONTRACTING & SUPPLY OPPORTUNITIESOpportunities include, but are not limited to:- Selective Demolition / Removals- Temporary Shoring and Bracing- Concrete Forming, Reinforcing and Cast-in-Place Concrete- Pipe and Tube Railings / Miscellaneous Metals- Rough Carpentry and Finish Carpentry- Sheet Metal Flashing and Trim- Joint Sealants- Door Hardware- Plastic Glazing- Synthetic Turf Flooring- Exterior Painting- Earthwork, Site Grading and Rock Removal- Erosion and Sediment Control- Aggregate Base Course and Stone Dust Pavement- Landscape Grading and Seeding- Stormwater Management System- Tree Removal- Trucking, Hauling and Dumpster Services- Lumber, Concrete, Aggregate, Sheet Metal and Building Material Supply PROJECT SCHEDULE- Work begins upon NYS Comptroller approval of the contract and will continue through the winter months- Substantial Completion: May 21, 2027- Final Completion: May 31, 2027- No site access June 1 – August 20, 2027- Bat exclusion work and tree removal limited to November 1 – March 31 (SEQR requirement) SUBCONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS- Current NYS MBE, WBE or SDVOB certification- NYS Prevailing Wage rates apply (Orange County schedule)- Certified payrolls required- NYS Department of Labor registration- OSHA 10-Hour certification for all on-site workers- Insurance as required by ADP Group Inc. and the contract documents- Attendance at mandatory site safety / rattlesnake awareness training at the preconstruction meeting HOW TO RESPONDPlans and specifications are available upon request.
