RFQ- On-Call Geotechnical Engineering Consultants for Parks and Recreation Projects

The City of Issaquah seeks to secure the services of on-call geotechnical engineering consultants to provide a range of design support and geotechnical engineering services for parks and recreation projects. The selected consultant will be required to execute a City-provided Professional Services Agreement and provide a Certificate of Insurance. The contract will be for a period of two years with an opportunity for one-year extensions. The consultant will be responsible for providing site feasibility studies, soil borings, test pits, and other geotechnical services. • Site feasibility studies & existing conditions analysis • Soil borings, test pits, groundwater monitoring, laboratory soil testing, engineered fill recommendations • Recommendations for structure & wall foundations, paving, roadway, athletic courts & fields facilities • Design and recommendations for stormwater management facilities & infiltration • Green infrastructure facilities and LID design and/or recommendations • Slope, landslide, streambank, retaining wall analysis and stabilization recommendations • Design details and technical specifications per project • Engineer’s estimates and bid schedule preparations, submittal reviews • Construction administration, inspections, soil & base material testing, & observation reports • Permitting support (local, state, federal such as Critical Areas, SEPA, Ecology, etc.) • Record drawings
