Substation Transformer Oil Processing

The City of Ukiah is seeking a contractor to perform substation transformer oil processing services. The work includes draining and storing the transformer oil, inspecting the interior of the transformer to identify the source of elevated combustible gas levels, and providing a written root-cause assessment and recommendation for remediation. The contractor will also be required to process the transformer oil to filter, de-gas, and dry it, and then vacuum fill the transformer. The project is expected to be completed within 30 calendar days. • The contractor must be licensed and experienced in performing similar work. • The contractor must provide a project schedule and start work as scheduled. • The contractor must furnish a bond of faithful performance and a payment bond. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to labor, safety, and environmental protection. • The contractor must provide proof of insurance and workers' compensation coverage. • The contractor must comply with the City's standard specifications and special provisions.
