Description
The City of Commerce is soliciting competitive sealed proposals from qualified professional service providers to provide experienced labor for 2026 LMIG Street Paving in the City of Commerce. The project includes asphalt paving, striping, and associated work on various City streets within 180 consecutive calendar days from the notice to proceed. The contractor shall provide all necessary materials, equipment, and supplies to complete the project. The city encourages all vendors to promote opportunities for Diverse Business Enterprises (DBEs) to compete for business as vendors, subconsultants, and/or suppliers.
• The project includes resurfacing of several streets with a 1.5” thick layer of pave topping material.
• The contractor shall provide designated certified flagging personnel to direct traffic.
• The contractor shall maintain all drainage structures within the limits of each project.
• The city will locate and identify all water valves and manholes and raise those that are justified as needed.
• The contractor shall provide a 24-hour clean-up service when each street project is completed.
