The City of Salina is seeking a qualified contractor to demolish the existing scale house and truck scale, perform extensive site earthwork, and construct a new scale‑house building with two truck scales, new pavement, parking, curbs, sidewalks, fencing, lighting, and related site improvements at the municipal solid‑waste landfill. The contract includes demolition, utility installation, concrete work, erosion‑control measures, and delivery of a fully functional scale‑house facility by the stipulated dates. • Demolition of existing scale house, truck scale, and associated culverts, followed by site clearing and earthwork (≈5,340 cy net fill). • Construction of a new scale‑house building with full architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems; installation of two 30‑ton truck scales (inbound/outbound). • Installation of new concrete pavements (≈100,000 sf), curbs, parking lots, lighting, signage, fencing, gate, bollards, and erosion‑control measures; final landscaping (seeding/mulching) to complete the site.
