The City of Salina is seeking a qualified general contractor to design, demolish, and construct a new scale house facility and associated entrance improvements at its municipal solid‑waste landfill. The work includes site grading, utility installation (water, sewer, storm‑water, electrical, and future fiber conduit), construction of a concrete‑paved parking lot, installation of two truck scales with foundations, erection of a new scale‑house building, demolition of existing structures, fence work, lighting, signage, and final landscaping. The contract is performance‑based with unit‑price items and requires both performance and payment bonds equal to the contract price.
