Job Order Contracting IDIQ for Institutional Projects

The University of Texas at San Antonio is seeking a general contractor to participate in the University's Job Order Contracting IDIQ Program. The program aims to provide construction services for institutional projects. The contractor will be required to perform work and complete job orders as requested by the University, in accordance with drawings and specifications provided by the University or produced by a Texas-registered architect or engineer. The contractor will also be required to utilize Procore Project Management Software throughout the duration of the agreement. Key responsibilities include providing pricing and delivery schedules, managing job orders, and ensuring compliance with University design and construction standards. • The University is looking for a contractor with experience in construction services, including building and facility construction and maintenance. • The contractor will be required to provide a HUB Subcontracting Plan and Affirmation Form as part of their proposal. • The University is committed to providing opportunities for historically underutilized businesses (HUBs) and encourages contractors to utilize HUB-certified subcontractors. • The contractor will be required to attend a pre-submittal conference and may be invited for an interview as part of the evaluation process. • The contract term will be for a period of four years, with no minimum guarantee of work. • The contractor will be required to provide a fee schedule for any additional services and include a description of any discounts offered to the University.
