Description
The Kansas Adjutant General's Office is seeking bids for the purchase of full-size mattresses for an Unaccompanied Housing Facility in Salina, Kansas. The contract term is for five years, from the date of contract execution through January 31, 2031. The successful bidder will be required to deliver and install the mattresses, remove existing mattresses from the facility, and dispose of them. The bid must include the cost of shipping, delivery, and installation. The State of Kansas reserves the right to allow this awarded contract to be available for other agencies within the state.
• The mattresses must be full-size, with dimensions of 74.5" x 53" x 13.5-15".
• The mattresses must have a 10-year prorated warranty.
• The support system must be a pocketed coil system with a coil count density of 800-850.
• The top upholstery must be gel foam.
• The border fill must be FR fiber.
• The quilting must be multi-layer, including foam layers and antimicrobial fiber to prevent bacteria, mold, and mildew.
• The mattresses must be manufactured in the USA.
• The bidder must be SAMS certified.
