AEGIS Weapon System Engineering and Development

The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to solicit and award a sole source contract modification to Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (LM RMS) for the AEGIS Weapon System engineering, development, and delivery. The contract modification will be for the United States Navy DDG 51 Flight III, in-service baselines, and updates and upgrades for DDG 51 Flight I/II/IIA and International fleets via Foreign Military Sales. • The contract modification will be awarded pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.103-1. • The Government will not accept proposals as a result of this synopsis. • Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. • Companies interested in subcontracting opportunities must contact LM RMS directly.
