Description
The National Weather Service is seeking a contractor to provide snow removal services at the WSR-88D Radar Site in Hodgdon, ME. The contractor will be responsible for plowing and salting/sanding the access road and parking area, and providing services from January through May and October through December as required based on snowfall. The contract will be for a base year with four option years. The contractor must provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform the snow removal services.
• Plowing and salting/sanding the access road and parking area
• Prior to the snowfall season, the area to be plowed shall be marked with high visibility markers
• The road shall be plowed anytime a snowfall occurrence has accumulated 4 inches or more
• Salting/sanding service to be provided as requested by the Government Point of Contact or designee
The contractor must comply with all applicable state and federal laws governing the health and safety of its employees.
