Description
The City of Asheville is seeking bids for the FY26 Asphalt Resurfacing Rebid project, which involves resurfacing selected roads throughout the city. The work includes milling existing asphalt, patching, utility adjustments, concrete repair, ADA ramp installation, asphalt curb installation, and paving.
• The project requires the contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, and accessories necessary to complete the work.
• The contractor must have a North Carolina General Contractor's license and be certified as a Highway Contractor.
• The City of Asheville has an Asheville Business Inclusion Policy to encourage women and minority businesses' participation in the public bidding process.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable laws, including those related to equal employment opportunity and drug-free workplace.
• The contractor must provide a performance bond and a payment bond in the amount of 100% of the contract amount.
