Dilution Refrigerator

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is seeking information from industry sources to determine the availability and capability of small businesses and other than small businesses to provide a dilution refrigerator. The dilution refrigerator will be used to support NIST's research efforts in quantum sensors development and quantum information science in Boulder, Colorado. The key requirements for the dilution refrigerator include: • Delivery within 9 months after receipt of order • Compliance with applicable U.S. Department of Transportation and other regulations • Ability to provide standard commercial pricing information • Capability to provide the required dilution refrigerator and access to information for Government personnel users • Information about the company's safety program and experience with meeting required specifications • Information about the company's capability to comply with FAR clause 52.219-14, Limitations on Subcontracting, if this acquisition were to be conducted as a total small business set-aside.
