Zinc Plating - Latches, Saddles and Links

The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard is seeking a vendor to provide zinc plating services for latches, saddles, and links. The scope of work includes the removal of residual platisol residue and re-zinc plating of the items. The vendor must be certified to ISO 9000 and have experience in providing services of this nature. The period of performance is 10 business days, and the work will be performed at the vendor's facility. The government will provide the items to be plated, and the vendor will be responsible for packaging and returning the items to the government. • The vendor must provide a priced option for increasing the quantity of units to be plated. • The vendor must provide a technical submission demonstrating compliance with the specifications. • The vendor must have a Property Management System in place to manage government property. • The vendor must provide a copy of their internal Government Property Management System Plan. • The vendor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database.
