8th and Walnut "Plaza" Parking Structure Repair

The City of Columbia is seeking a contractor to repair the 8th and Walnut “Plaza” Parking Structure. The scope of work includes prepping all surfaces, cleaning and painting metal stairs, pans, frames, and handrails throughout the garage. The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary mobilization, materials, equipment, tools, and labor for the project. The contract period will be for a maximum of 5 years and 3 months. • The contractor must comply with all applicable codes and standards, including ADA requirements and OSHA training. • The contractor must provide performance and labor bonds, with corporate surety, satisfactory to the purchasing agent. • The contractor must pay prevailing wages to all workers on the project, as determined by the Missouri Division of Labor Standards. • The contractor must comply with all federal, state, and local laws, rules, regulations, and ordinances. • The contractor must provide a construction safety program and require all on-site employees to complete a 10-hour safety training program. • The contractor must not knowingly employ any person who is an unauthorized alien in connection with the contracted services.
