Germany Aerial Mail Terminal (GAMT) IV requirement

The United States Air Forces in Europe and United States Air Forces Africa (USAFE-AFAFRICA) are seeking a contractor to provide Aerial Mail Terminal (AMT) services, including receiving and dispatching mail, processing parcels and pouches, managing empty equipment, and handling associated documentation. The contractor will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of all mail, including managing the necessary paperwork for each shipment. The contractor will also be required to comply with various regulations and guidelines, including those related to security, environmental management, and labor laws. Some key points to consider include: • The contractor will be required to process mail 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with the ability to handle a 25% increase in mail volume during peak holiday seasons. • The contractor will be responsible for managing empty equipment, including storing and returning excess equipment to the USPS. • The contractor will be required to comply with various regulations and guidelines, including those related to security, environmental management, and labor laws. • The contractor will be required to provide office space for government personnel, including a minimum of 110 square meters of empty office space. • The contractor will be required to provide a calibrated trailer or container scale at the GAMT facility for government or USPS-contracted airline use.
