Annual Lot Cleaning & Clearing Services for Privately Owned Properties

The City of Lakeland is seeking a qualified and experienced mowing contractor to provide annual lot cleaning and clearing services for privately owned properties. The contract period will be valid from the issuance of the purchase order through September 30, 2026, and may be renewed for up to four additional one-year periods. The contractor will be responsible for mowing, trimming, and incidental cleaning of lots and adjoining public right-of-way, as well as debris and junk removal. The contractor must comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including those related to safety, health, and environmental protection. • The contractor must provide all necessary equipment, materials, and labor to perform the work. • The contractor must have a valid business license and liability insurance. • The contractor must comply with the City's safety regulations and procedures. • The contractor must provide a detailed pricing proposal, including unit costs for standard lot clearing, clearing land larger than 15,000 square feet, and tree removal. • The contractor must provide a certificate of insurance and a hold harmless indemnification agreement. • The contractor must certify that they are not suspended or debarred from doing business with the City or any other government agency.
