Description
The City of Asheville is seeking bids for the replacement of approximately 240 feet of damaged steel handrail on Tunnel Road. The work includes removal of the damaged handrail, repair of concrete, installation and painting of the new handrail, and proper traffic control. The contractor must provide a drug-free workplace and comply with the City's Business Inclusion Policy.

• The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
• The award of the contract will be made to the lowest responsible, responsive bidder.
• The contractor must provide proof of MWBE status and comply with the Asheville Business Inclusion Policy.
• The contractor must notify employees that the unlawful manufacture, distribution, dispensation, possession or use of a controlled substance is prohibited in the workplace.
