Description
The Town of Brandon is seeking sealed bids for the purchase of a new tandem dump truck. The truck should be equipped with a Freightliner 114SD Plus Tandem Axle or comparable model, with a Detroit Diesel DD13 engine and an Allison 4500 RDS Series Automatic Transmission. The truck should also have a white day cab configuration and a manufacturer's warranty. The bid must be valid for 30 days, and the selectboard may or may not award a bid.
• The truck should have a 68K GVWR and a 139 cab to axle.
• The truck should have a 525HP @ 1625RPM engine and a 1850 Ft-lb torque.
• The truck should have a 4.89 rear axle ratio with locking rear differential and interaxle lock.
• The truck should have a central hydraulic system with transmission mounted PTO and pump.
• The truck should have an Everest SDS14SS3850-H1 14’ stainless steel side dump / spreader body.
• The truck should have an Everest power tilt hitch complete and an Everest ACP36/ACP36/ST/62 hydraulic wing system.
• The truck should have an Everest OWSK9-RR85 11’ one way trip steel plow and an Everest W144 12’ heavy duty steel wing.
• The truck should have a LED light package and a stainless steel lines cab back.
The bidder should specify the date they will deliver the equipped vehicle.
