Description
The Ohio State University is seeking a qualified general contractor to construct new roadway, traffic signal, shared‑use path, lighting, and landscape improvements at the Country Club/Londondale intersection on the OSU Newark campus. The work includes earthwork, pavement (both flexible and rigid), storm‑drainage utilities, electrical systems, sidewalk and trail, lighting, and extensive planting and landscaping. Compliance with Ohio prevailing‑wage, EDGE Business Development, SUPR program, domestic‑steel, and multiple executive orders is required.
• New entrance road, traffic signal, and shared‑use path to improve campus connectivity.
• Installation of flexible and rigid pavement, curb, sidewalks, lighting, and detectable‑warning surfaces.
• Storm‑drainage pipe and catch‑basin installation, electrical conduit, and full landscaping (soil preparation, turf, trees, shrubs).
• Mandatory pre‑bid meeting (Sept 17 2026) and electronic bid submission via BidExpress (deadline Oct 1 2026).
• Contractor must provide performance and payment bonds, bid security, and meet EDGE (5 %) and SUPR program participation goals.
