AN/UPX-45 and AN/UPX-50 DI RP2 Trouble Report Software Corrections

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) is seeking information from potential sources for the AN/UPX-45 and AN/UPX-50 DI RP2 Trouble Report Software Corrections. The effort requires highly specialized skills and knowledge of the AN/UPX-45 and AN/UPX-50 DI system design and engineering details to complete the RP2 TR software correction effort. The work associated with this requirement is expected to be performed at the contractor’s facilities within the United States. Key points to consider: * The anticipated period of performance is 18 months with an estimated value of $4M. * The work requires engineering and technical support services to update proprietary software and coding developed by BAE Systems. * The Navy did not procure the Technical Data Package or necessary software that would allow another source to produce these efforts. * The Government currently anticipates a sole-source award under FAR 6.103-1 to BAE Systems due to the Government’s lack of required technical data and data rights for the AN/UPX-45 and AN/UPX-50 DI designs. * All responsible sources, including small business, are encouraged to submit capability statements describing their ability to perform as a prime or subcontractor.
