Bear Mountain Bridge Deck Replacement Construction Inspection Services

The New York State Bridge Authority is soliciting technical/cost proposals for construction inspection services for the deck replacement project at the Bear Mountain Bridge. The project involves replacing the existing 6” CIP standard concrete deck in three stages. Firms with demonstrable expertise in construction inspection are invited to submit proposals. The contract term is expected to be completed by July 31, 2028. The authority has set goals for MWBE participation and service-disabled veteran-owned business contracting. • The project is located at the Bear Mountain Bridge, Fort Montgomery, NY. • The existing deck is 6” CIP standard concrete in the girder, truss, and suspension spans. • Deck removal will be performed in three stages. • All job records shall be maintained in accordance with NYSDOT M.U.R.K. • Firms shall comply with the terms of the RFP, including Equal Employment Opportunity, M/WBE, and SDVOB goals.
