Description
This solicitation concerns the preservation and rehabilitation of six bridge structures on Interstate 495 in the Foxborough‑Middleborough‑Norton corridor of Massachusetts. The work includes bridge deck milling, selective clearing, concrete repair, joint replacement, structural steel repair and repainting, drainage repairs, sidewalk and curb reconstruction, application of protective coatings, and extensive temporary traffic‑control and detour provisions. All work must comply with MassDOT standard specifications, prevailing‑wage rules, Buy‑America requirements, and environmental/EEO mandates. Bidders must be pre‑qualified in bridge‑construction or painting‑structural categories, obtain a Digital ID, and submit an electronic bid via the BIDX portal.
