LBNL Decommissioning and Demolition (D&D)

The Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL) is seeking information on qualifications to perform decommissioning and demolition (D&D) of multiple buildings located on Laboratory Property. The scope of work includes project management, safety oversight, waste management, pre-demolition studies, hazardous materials and radiological abatement, demolition, and site restoration. The subcontractor must provide the services listed and have the capability to keep charges separate for various work. • Project management and oversight • Safety oversight with a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certificate and minimum of five years of safety oversight experience • Waste management and record-keeping services • Pre-demolition studies, such as historical site assessments • Hazardous materials and radiological abatement, profiling, transportation, and disposal • Demolition, waste profiling, transportation, and disposal • Site restoration, including providing compacted fill, compaction testing, aggregate base course rock, paving, and striping
