The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) is seeking contractors who are able and interested in manufacturing storage batteries. The items are being bought to a Qualified Products List (QPL), and competition for the parts is limited to sources that are listed on or are qualified for listing on the QPL at the time of award. The agency is requesting that interested sources complete a market survey and spreadsheet and return the completed copies to Matthew Stein by 03/23/2026.
• The storage batteries are described as BATTERY, STORAGE, with various National Stock Numbers (NSNs) and estimated yearly quantities.
• The agency is looking for sources that can demonstrate their capability to manufacture the items to the same or better level of quality than the current approved sources.
• The submission package should include all required technical data, such as drawings, detailed manufacturing plans, and test plans.
• The agency will review the submissions and may request additional information or clarification.
• The review process will take a minimum of 90 days, and the agency will notify the offeror of the decision.
