Description
The Cape Fear Public Utility Authority is requesting bids for a new, unused crane truck. The bid includes specifications for the truck cab and chassis, crane body, shelving arrangement, electric telescopic crane, and other features. The successful bidder will be required to provide a crane truck that meets the specified requirements. The bid package includes a proposal sheet, technical specifications, and other attachments.
• The crane truck must have a regular cab, F-350 or equivalent model, 4x2 drivetrain, gas engine, and automatic transmission.
• The crane body must be 9' long, steel service crane body, with a master locking system, gas shock door retainers, and other specified features.
• The electric telescopic crane must have a 12,500 ft/lb rating, continuous rotation, power extension to 11.4', and manual extension to 16'.
• The bid must include all freight charges for delivery to the CFPUA facility.
• The successful bidder will be required to provide training on the use and safety aspects of the equipment.
