Wood Window Re-Condition & Painting

The Pacific Hospital Preservation & Development Authority is seeking a contractor to perform wood window re-conditioning and painting services for approximately 280 windows and doors in six buildings. The project involves scraping, prepping, de-glazing, re-glazing, and painting of all windows, as well as the installation of exterior joint sealant. Some windows may require removal of sashes, strip, and full de-glaze for shop restoration, installation of weather-stripping, full re-glaze, and new finish paint to sashes. The contractor will be responsible for managing the budget and ensuring that the work is completed within the scheduled milestones. • The project schedule milestones include soliciting contractor RFPs, contractor RFPs due, awarding the contract, site availability for work start, and construction completion. • The contractor will be required to provide a detailed lump sum proposal, including any clarifications and/or exclusions. • The contractor will be responsible for maintaining continuous cleanup of their work, removing debris from the site, and properly recycling or disposing of debris. • The contractor will be required to provide insurance, including commercial general liability, worker's compensation, employer's liability, commercial automobile liability, and property insurance.
