Description
The Borough of Atlantic Highlands seeks a qualified Risk Management Consultant to serve as its municipal risk manager for the calendar year 2025. The consultant will identify and mitigate insurance‑related exposures, assist with the Monmouth County Municipal Joint Insurance Fund (JIF) applications and budgeting, review loss reports, support claims settlement, and attend JIF safety committee meetings. Compensation is tied to a percentage of the JIF assessment, and the contractor must hold a New Jersey property/casualty insurance producer license and be pre‑qualified by the JIF.
• Perform risk identification, insurance coverage review, and budgeting for the borough’s municipal insurance program.
• Prepare and submit JIF application documents, review loss/run reports, and coordinate quarterly claims‑review meetings.
• Provide monthly reporting, attend JIF and safety committee meetings, and comply with HIPAA, ADA, and all NJ statutory requirements.
