INDICATOR,DEPTH

The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) is seeking a quotation for the manufacture of an Indicator, Depth, which is a component used on submarines and surface ships. The supplier must provide and maintain an inspection/quality system acceptable to the Government, and the item must meet all requirements of the contract/purchase order. The item must be free from mercury contamination, and the supplier must obtain written approval from the Procurement Contracting Officer if the inclusion of metallic mercury is required as a functional part of the material furnished under this contract. The key requirements of the job include: * Manufacturing the Indicator, Depth, in accordance with the contract/purchase order requirements * Providing and maintaining an inspection/quality system acceptable to the Government * Ensuring the item is free from mercury contamination * Obtaining written approval from the Procurement Contracting Officer if the inclusion of metallic mercury is required * Meeting all requirements of the contract/purchase order * Providing records of inspection and test data * Packaging and marking the item in accordance with the contract/purchase order requirements * Delivering the item to the specified location * Providing a warranty for the item • The item must be manufactured in accordance with the specified military standards and specifications • The supplier must provide a certification that the item meets all requirements of the contract/purchase order • The item must be inspected and tested to ensure it meets all requirements • The supplier must provide a report of the inspection and test results • The item must be packaged and marked in accordance with the contract/purchase order requirements • The supplier must provide a certification that the item has been properly packaged and marked.
