Description
Camden County Improvement Authority seeks a qualified construction‑management firm to oversee the demolition of the historic “Radio Lofts” building in downtown Camden. The CM will develop demolition plans (including feasibility of a structural implosion vs. mechanical demolition), prepare bid specifications, manage procurement, and act as the owner’s representative during the demolition phase, coordinating with environmental, safety, and community stakeholders. The contract is a one‑year, lump‑sum “not‑to‑exceed” fee with two staffing fee scenarios (implosion and mechanical demolition).
• Provide pre‑demolition planning, feasibility studies, and a coordinated execution plan.
• Prepare procurement documents, conduct pre‑bid activities, and evaluate bids.
• Serve on‑site as owner’s representative, monitor safety, regulatory compliance, and schedule.
• Coordinate with separate environmental remediation contractor and local authorities.
• Deliver close‑out documentation and final reporting.
