19-RFPQ-2327812727 -TMM PRIME CONTRACTORS FOR RESIDENTIAL CONSTRUCTION SERVICES ACQUISITION AND DEMOLITION

The North Carolina Department of Public Safety is seeking to qualify highly skilled Prime Contractors to perform residential property acquisition and structure demolition services located across North Carolina. This work will be completed through the NCEM Hazard Mitigation program and includes project scoping, pre-construction services, construction/demolition activities, post-construction services, and closeout services of eligible structures. The selected Prime Contractors will be required to provide construction management, subcontracting construction services, managing timelines and budgets, acquiring necessary designs and permits, and ensuring all inspections and certificates are acquired by completion of the project. • The contract will be awarded to prequalified Prime Contractors through an Invitation to Bid (IFB) process. • The IFB will include a date and time for the completed bid to be sent back to NCEM. • The contract will be for a fixed price, lump sum, or price per square footage for each task as specified in the IFB. • The Prime Contractor will be required to provide documentation of any changes to the contract. • The contract will be governed by the terms and conditions outlined in the RFPQ and subsequent IFB.
