Description
The City of Columbus, Department of Utilities, Division of Water is seeking bids for the purchase of one slope mower. The mower will be used by the Watershed Section. Bidders must document a mower certified reseller partnership and provide an outline of their experience and work history in providing similar equipment and warranty service for the past five years. The bid must include a completed product bid details form, reference pages, subcontractor information, experience documentation, literature, and warranty information. The successful bidder will be required to execute a written contract with the City of Columbus within ten days after receiving the contract for execution.
• The slope mower must meet the specifications outlined in the bid document.
• The bidder must provide a warranty for the equipment for a minimum of 12 months at no additional charge.
• The bidder must provide literature and dealer's build sheets with the bid.
• The bidder must provide insurance and workers' compensation coverage.
• The bidder must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to equal opportunity employment and affirmative action.
• The bidder must provide a certificate of insurance and a worker's compensation certificate.
• The bidder must attend a pre-build meeting if requested by the City.
• The bidder must provide web access to software including parts lists, service, maintenance, and operation of the equipment.
• The bidder must provide a delayed warranty procedure for starting dates to cover the interval between time of delivery of the complete vehicle and the actual date that the equipment is placed in service by the City.
